Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is the favorite cartoon series of many 80’s and 90’s kids. I am one of them. So, I had great expectations for the movie [even after the previous remakes]. I am not quite impressed, but I am happy to see the turtles in action again. They were cute and funny in my childhood days, but now they are big and more dark green with a forceful action character. Definitely this goes with the recent movie trends. I do not remember clearly how the turtles grown in the cartoon, but in this movie they are grown in lab. It kind of reminds me the Spider man movie.
The story is a little weak on how shredder came to new york and why he is trying to destroy only the city. The good twist is how the turtles is grown and trained. I know there are changes and plot twisting after a new cinema is made on the old story. I am not unhappy about that. The 2007 movie was good, but this one is much better. The action the screen play and the dialogues – I love all of them. I am not going to spoil the fun with the mistakes they had made in the movie. every movie has those mistakes.
What I will point out is the weak character of the O’Neil. The reporter shouldn’t be look like a modeling girl and get more along with the turtles. Megan Fox failed as the April O’Neil character.
Apart from that, you can watch this movie with your family and it is another great action movie with lots of fun. It can be a perfect holiday specials for your kid.
